The American Bandogge is an extremely intelligent dog.Though breeders of Bandogges today disagree on just what breeds went into Swinford's original breeding scheme, the general compromise is that it was 50 % American Pit Bull Terrier and 50 % English Mastiff. The most common method employed to produce a Bandogge is to cross a good game male American Pit Bull Terrier with a large and strong English Mastiff bitch. The name Bandogge was used in the old England by the Saxons and comes from the word Banda,-a Saxon word for chain.American bandogges need exercise just as much as american pitbulls do. English Mastiffs are helping set the standard along with american pitbulls.The American Bandogge Mastiff is not a purebred dog, in the way we know the word "purebred." The "Bandogge" is a nonspecific name of any Bulldog class Mastiff breed. Their origin is of American Pit Bull Terrier and Neapolitan Mastiff. This breed makes an excellent family guard dog, as it's good with people and other animals that it is socialized with, but will not tolerate intruders.Common misspellings are american bandogge, american bandog mastiff, american bandog mastiffs, american bandogg mastiff, american bandogg mastiffs, americanbandogge mastiff, americanbandogge mastiffs, american bandogmastiff, american bandogmastiffs. |

The History Behind MCK’s CHUPA Our American Bandogs are very selective cross between the American Pitbull Terrier and an English Mastiff. Structure, Confidence, Athleticism, and Intelligence combined with Mass, Head Size, Power, and Loyalty Produces the Total Package, MCK American Bandogs!!!!! Mck’s Bandogs Started in 2005 with the purchase of our DRA Registered English Mastiff “BJ”. What an investment! We chose this amazing dog to instill Head size and Mass to our Line of Bandogs. “BJ” is Loyal, Intelligent, Powerful, Driven and willing to work and please whoever is in control. We couldn't have asked for a better dog to start both lines of our DRA Reg. American Bandogs Our search for the perfect American Pitbull Terrier led us on a very long trip to Osccoda MI. This is where we acquired Star and Storm. Two amazing Solid Blue Females. We then Decided to keep “Star” for our Pitbull Lines, she was just a little smaller, and use “Storm” for our American Bandogs. “Storm” is ADBA, DRA Registered American Pitbull Terrier. She was able to add athleticism, More Intelligence, Drive and Very Dominate and Protective traits that are associated with the American Pitbull Terrier Breed. 2 Years later our first litter of F1 American Bandogges were here!! Boy were we surprised at how they turned out. Big heads, Mass, Drive, Athleticism and all that you could ask for or want in a Protection dog. “MCK’s Kate” was the pup that stood out, she was a keeper. This dog has Drive, for days, and just like her father “BJ”, Loyal and Protective as you can get. When “Kate” Turned 1 1/2 Years old she was able to further MCK’s line of American Bandogs to the F2 Stage, man were we excited. MCK’s Prince, no doubt would be a Perfect match for “Kate” and our F2 Bandogs. “Prince” compliments every aspect of her and adds More Head Size, Intimidation factor, Protective traits and Structure that is Out of this World. The product was MCK’s World Class F2 American Bandog Chupa. |
